Wedding Pattern: Check!

Filed under: Uncategorized — styleguru @ 6:41 am

So we’ve known that the popular, wedding pattern damask is going out of style. So we were curious what the new pattern around the corner would be ? We were pleasantly surprised to find lots of references to gingham. Obviously, this isn’t a pattern for fall and winter weddings, but for the summer, we think it’s divine. We adore!

Filed under: Uncategorized — styleguru @ 9:15 am

It used to be that for your wedding you would either have flowers or candles for your centerpieces. Today’s bride is a little more savvy and likes to think outside the box. Martha Stewart Weddings gives us some samples of other ideas to adorn those guest tables. Think — fruit, bottles of wine, chalkboards, old books etc. The possibilities are limitless.

Filed under: Uncategorized — styleguru @ 5:13 pm

They are quirky, they are old-school and more importantly, they are something your guests will surely remember. They are.. Cootie Catchers. Remember playing with these in the school yard? Well know they are back by Etsy Seller KatsKrafts. You can get table numbers or programs. How fun would it be for your guests to play with these during dinner downtime? We love this idea and we hope you do to.

Etsy Find!

Filed under: Uncategorized — styleguru @ 11:18 am

It seems weddings are adding more and more personal touches and now our favorite personal touch is the cake topper. We found the store Concarta on Etsy and adore their cake toppers. Each topper is unique and meticulously crafted with acid-free paper and archival glue. The attention to detail is out of this world and we think it’s a one of a kind lovely heirloom that can be handed down through the generations.
