I can’t believe it’s March already! That means it’s time to shine the light on a new wedding dress designer. We love Justina McAffrey’s designs – and she hails from one of the best countries in the world. CANADA!!
Justina grew up in Winnipeg. She honed her skills in Ottawa through creating couture gowns and wedding dresses. Her work is quite inspiring and enchanting. This is why she is our featured designer in March. Enjoy.
It’s amazing how a little fabric or paper can transform into a stunning headpiece or gown embellishment. Believe it or not.. anyone can make these. I was skeptical at first but actually pulled one off! Thanks to Martha Stewart and her amazing DIY sections. Check out our favorite fabric flower creations.
Betsey Johnson is a shoe in — for this month’s shoe designer. If you’ve never heard of her — think of bright colors, lots of energy and nothin’ but girly bows, ruffels and ribbons. We love her for her quirkiness and for standing out from the crowd. Take a look at her shoes and then head over to her website for matching handbags and jewelery.
It’s Etsy time! Look at how adorable these shabby chic signs are.. not only can this seller make signs but table numbers as well. It gives that vintage look to your reception which is all the rage in 2010!

It’s February which means it’s time to feature a new wedding dress designer. This month’s feature is on Katerina Bocci. Katerina designs couture evening gowns and just recently started to design wedding gowns. Her gowns and craftsmanship are amazing. She uses only 100-percent silk-organza and tulle. Plus she uses eco-friendly materials including 100-percent cotton for gown liners. We picked a few of our favorites from her Fall 2010 collection. Enjoy.
We are madly in love with this inspiration board. Orange and Teal are beautiful together and I think the shoes are my favorite — nope scratch that — the cake — nope scratch that — all of it.

First up, mismatched bridesmaid dresses. We are so excited for this trend to take off because it lets your bridesmaids show their individuality!
